Does this sound familiar?
- Cold spots in radiators
- Radiator cold at the bottom
- Radiator cold at the top
- Blocked pipes
- Loud banging noises from boiler
- Noisy pipes
- Boiler cutting out
Then a central heating power flush might be of benefit to you.
What is a power flush?
A powerful flow of clean water is pumped through your system using a industry standard Fernox flushing pump to remove debris and built-up sludge from the system. By connecting the power flushing unit to the central heating system via a boiler, pump or radiator the system is thoroughly cleaned.
A TDS meter is used to check the cleanliness of the system after the flush is complete. A typical 10 radiator system can take anywhere from 4 hours upwards to be cleaned properly. All systems are different dependant on the age and condition of the system.
Once the flush is complete a Fernox inhibitor is added to the central heating circuit to help slow future corrosion and sludge build-up in the system. To discuss the benefits of a Power Flush or to arrange a visit, call us today on 07858 454522.
What are the benefits of a Power Flush?
As well as ensuring that your heating system is in as good a condition it can be, a power flush will also provide:
- Faster heat up
- Rust protection
- Lime scale protection
- Quieter system
- More efficient system
- Up to 25% saving on fuel bills
- Better circulation
- Efficient radiators
We can also supply and fit a magnetic filter to your central heating circuit (usually in the airing cupboard) which attracts the debris build-up, prolonging the life of your boiler and reducing the need for future Power Flushes.
